Hello, Our next TMG Dialogue meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston, located at 5200 Fannin @ Southmore. Our topic will be "INSANITY: DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS - BREAKING THE CYCLE!" . Many of us have experience behaviors that have caused much pain in our lives and for others. This topic will look at some of the individual and collective behaviors that cause many to have a very negative and pessimistic view of being black and gay. We will also look at how the cycle of destructive behaviors have been broken and look at possible solutions. If you are stuck in a cycle of destructive behavior, join us for this dialogue meeting. WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US AFTER THE MEETING AT 10PM BENNIGAN'S LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF 59-SOUTH AND KIRBY. |

| Here's the location and directions to the church. Directions to the Church From U.S. 59 (Southwest Freeway) southbound: Take the Fannin Street exit and continue south on Fannin. The church will be on your right at 5200 Fannin. From U.S. 59 (Southwest Freeway) northbound: After passing the Greenbriar/Shepherd exit, get in the third lane from the left. When the freeway splits, veer to the left toward “Downtown via Louisiana.” Take the first exit (Richmond/Fannin). Turn right at the light onto Richmond. To avoid the construction on Fannin, turn right at the first light onto Main. Go 0.5 mile to Southmore (there is a light at this intersection). Turn left onto Southmore. The church is on the far corner on the right of this block at 5200 Fannin. From Texas 288 (South Freeway) northbound: Take the Southmore exit. Turn left onto Southmore and proceed approximately 1 mile to the intersection of Southmore and Fannin (across Fannin). From the Museum of Fine Arts or the Medical Center: Go north on Main Street. Turn right on Southmore. The church is on your right. Parking You may park in the following areas: In the lot between the church and the Methodist Building on Main Street In the bank drive-through on weeknights after 7 p.m. and all day Sunday In the lot north of the bank In the gravel lot across Fannin, diagonally to the church You may not park in the following areas: In the three spaces in front of the bank night deposit In the lot in front of the Subway sandwich shop center across Fannin from the church |
